I am a teacher of 35 years and when I left school today, I heard the horror on the radio. All I could feel was heartache for the victims - then I thought about the students I had just left and my grandchildren getting home from their school. An overwhelming helplessness came over me.
This blog will be taking a few days off. It seems so insignificant to write about casino news during this tragey in New England. Our hearts and prayers go out to all those unfortunately touched by this deep hardship in Newtown, CT.
