Spoofed! (Series;1 Ep.2) Samsung Galaxy Note XL Revealed!!!

Again, this is a re-publicatin and this is out-of-date so read with a pinch of salt.

Please Note that the following feature contains offensive language.

Samsung yesterday revealed their new, upcoming smartphone The Galaxy Note XL. The soon to be released successor to the awesome Galaxy Note 2 will offer some brand new and unique features that will no doubt remain exclusive to this phone.

The Note phones are well known for their big screens - and the XL is no exception. Samsung, yet again trying to ensure they remain in the spotlight over Apple, are including the first ever 7inch screen on a phone. While many consumers may argue it has now crossed the line into becoming a tablet that just makes calls, Samsung have assured customers it is far more than that and should not be classed as a tablet.

Speaking about the enormous screen size, a Samsung representative told website Llort:

"Of course it's still a phone. We understand consumers may have concerns about the gigantic and pointless size of the screen, but we assure people that this is still very much a phone. Obviously tablets don't make calls or texts. Also if you go on our website it's labelled under the category 'smartphones', so it is clearly not a tablet."

When asked about possible controversy about the screen size simply being a ploy to stay in the spotlight of the media, the representative continued:

"Of course this is not an attention seeking ploy - we're not Apple. Wait can you cut that? I don't think I'm allowed to say Apple in a Samsung interview...

Anyway, there are millions of brilliant reasons we have included this stupidly large and unnecessary screen on our device! There is now an extra 1.5inches to take notes on, so you can note your life away! You'll never be without room to note and quite frankly, if you didn't like noting before you use the Note XL, I guarantee you will be note crazy after this. Well not guarantee - I don't want to be sued. I mean, I guess you will. Or you might.
You can now note with even more note taking features with our included apps: "Note On The Go", "Note For Life", "Note This Bitch', "Note Way? Are Serious" and "Note, I Don't Want a Beer, I Wanted a Bacardi. Note I Didn't Say That. I HAVE A NOTE TO PROOVE IT"."

Unfortunately the interview had to be delayed due to the interviewee having to take an important call on his iPhone 5.

The other large attraction of the Note phones has been their included styluses which allow for many unique features to be accessed through their use as well as being easier to write with.

The Note XL includes two styluses this time, to allow for a new feature called 'dual noting'. This feature can comes into use with the app "Let's Note Together (forever)" as well as offering other interesting uses.

After returning from his call, the Samsung Representative was asked about 'dual noting' and its implementation.

"It's brilliant really - and I'm not just saying that because Samsung pay me to.
It's such a useful feature that will no doubt impact the way people use their Note phone with other people. Dual Noting in conjunction with the Samsung app "Let's Note Together (forever)" allows people to use one of the two styluses each and, as the name suggests, note together!
Noting can be such a personal and deep experience by oneself, and there is no reason that can't be shared between two people. We really want to extend this feature to include even more people. Honestly, noting will never be the same with "Let's Note Together (forever)".

Another use for Dual Noting allows one person to use both styluses to note twice as fast. Quite like with our totally useless Swype Texting app, Dual Noting in texting and note taking will take forever to get used to and even then you'll still be making a crap load of mistakes. Oops, can you cut that out too?"

Aside from the styluses and new screen, what else has changed with the Note XL?

"Well, quite frankly, we listened to our customers complaints. Obviously a lot of them were related to the fact the Note 2 was too big for pockets, but we can't help that. It's going to be running the latest version of Android though."

Recent reports about there being a Note XL tablet have also risen. According to reports and rumours the device will feature the largest screen in the history of the world. But they're just rumours. When asked about this the Samsung Representative stated:

"Well I can neither confirm no deny any rumours. We are constantly working on new products to rip our customers off with. That said we certainly are interested in breaking some world records to do with screen sizes. You never know, there might just happen to be a leak about it."

There's no doubt many fans will be queuing up in order to purchase the latest phone in the Note series when it hits shelves early March.
Rumoured to follow shortly after its release is the Note XXL however, which may cause some distress to buyers of the XL version. That said, information about this other version of the phone is scarce.

"Well," The Sasmung Representative continued when questioned about this, "We are working on another version of the Note XL, but this version will be so drastically different, buyers of the XL could not possibly feel unhappy with their purchases."

When asked what would be so different about the XXL, he continued:

"Well the screen obviously. We've been asking our online community and we're currently thinking of a size of around 10inches. Some might say that is too big, but that is what Samsung is - big. We are big, we think big - we're muthafucking Samsung okay? Jesus Christ... Go buy Apple is you don't like our intelligent and innovative products then, whiny bitch...."

According to the interviewing website Llort, the representative then stormed off crying about how he needed to have his daily noting session to express his issues.

According to Samsung, the new tagline for their upcoming product, Note XL, will be:

Say Note To Apple and Yes To Note.

Rumours about the tagline for the Note XXL have also surfaced which Samsung neither endorses or denies. The tagline is rumoured to be something like:

Galaxy Note XXL - Bigger Than Your Boyfriend (or your money back).

The Note XL is reported to be released early March with an actual release day not specified.

Spoofed! (Series;1 Ep.1) iPhone 5S Revealed!

This article is out-of-date and was originally published on my (now inactive) secondary blog 'Michael The Entertainer'. Since both my blogs have become one, however, all of these articles will get published on here from now on, and all of the ones that were already published on my other blog MTE will be transferred to this one. This article was not written in relation to any recent (within the past month) rumours to do with this subject.

Spoofed is likely a series that will be continued on this blog, and may feature weekly installments. The premise is simple: something is taken and a spoof "News" styled article is written making fun of them/it. Enjoy.

Please Note that this article contains explicit language.

In a surprising turn of events, it is reported Apple have cut their production rate of the iPhone 5 to pave the market for the newest entry in their mobile phone line: the iPhone 5S.

Apple: who caused controversy last year after they released the iPad 4 only 9 months after the iPad 3,; look to be causing the same issue here. According to a report from website Llort, Apple is due to release their newly revealed device towards the end of February.

Information about the new phone came in surprising abundance as Apple revealed some intriguing details about the new iPhone model. These are listed below.

Apparently the screen of the iPhone 5S is to be exactly the same size as that of the iPhone 5, which comes as no surprise due to the fact that Apple were adamant for years that 3.5 inches was clearly big enough when blatantly competition had over taken it in this area.

The processor will also remain the same, but has been beefed up to a 1.4Ghz speed instead of the original 1.2Ghz. It will remain dual core which may surprise some given that Apple are, again, showing their neglect towards their more techie fans by shoving the same piece of crap processor in their faces.
Obviously this will be justified by the fact that it 'performs like a quad core 1.6Ghz processor' but still poses the question: Why don't Apple just put in an actual quad core 1.6Ghz one then, instead of this crappy 'out of date in 2 months' thing that just about gets the job done?

The screen resolution is still not HD, which will no doubt shock few and not surprise many.

Not to worry though, as always Apple has come back with the PPI figures, which are up to 246; so that is an increase of 20! This will most likely ensure that the iPhone maintains the highest PPI of any phone. Many fans will no doubt still be angry about the iPad 4 in this area after it was beaten in screen quality only a few months after release by the Nexus 10.

Siri, the guy who always sounds like he's got a cold, has been upgraded too.
He now answers to more commands than ever, including "Siri, where's my phone?" "Siri, don't be such a dick!" "Siri, I'm not going to repeat this so get it right this time!" "No Siri I didn't want you to search the fucking web; I want you to CALL MY MOTHER!" "FOR FUCKS SAKE SIRI WHY ARE YOU SO USELESS? WHY AM I EVEN USING YOU?"
However after hearing from an anonymous tester, it's confirmed that Siri will still answer most of those commands with "I don't know what that means, do you want me to search the web for..."

Apple Maps has had an upgrade too. It now has a massively improved 50% chance of getting you to your destination safely.

To wrap up this iPhone 5S reveal here's some interesting information on the new power connecter. Apparently the new iPhone will, again, be so thin that the old new power connecter is too big for it. A new one has been fitted which will mean that users will, once again, have to change all their equipment over to the ones that work with the new dock.

Apple says it's worth it though, given how much thinner the phone is. It's now 6.4mm thick, however Apple haven't said anything about it being the thinnest phone yet - probably because of that mix up about them wrongly stating the iPhone 5 was the thinnest in the world when it clearly wasn't.

It's also worth noting that they are now in the process or patenting the 6.4mm size too.

Pricing wise, it is believed the new iPhone will be around £750 and the iPhone 5 will receive a price cut of just £50.

Is it worth the extra money? Was it ever worth the money? Voice your opinions in the comments.

By The Way Chillax...

This article was a complete spoof and is not real (nor is the site Llort - read it backwards) Do not take this article seriously at all. The points made in it are meant to put Apple in a bad light. Do not be offended by this if you are an Apple fan - similar articles directed at other phones and companies will be posted soon, so it's nothing personal. The whole point of this and other Spoofed articles are meant to point out the flaws with these devices and development companies. So chillax and enjoy.

A thanks to Mr. Michael Crichton for his editing advice is also due - thanks buddy. Follow him on Twitter @Mike__Crichton Follow me on Twitter @mookyst

(Series:1 Ep.6) Ultimate Team Player Of The Week

Luis Fuentes

Club: U.N.A.M.
League: Liga MX
Nation: Mexico
Position: CB
Height: 5'7"
Foot: Left
Weak Foot: * * *
Skill Moves: * * *
Attacking Workrate: Medium
Defensive Workrate: Medium

Average Cost: 2,500-4,000

Card Type: Normal Silver

Base Stats:
Pace: 80
Shooting: 61
Passing: 66
Dribbling: 74
Defending: 70
Heading: 75

Why is he so good?

I was originally interested in Fuentes because he offered a great amount of pace and 3-star skills which, for a centre-back, is very good. Luckily I have found him to be absolutely awesome and a player I would definitely recommend for any silver squads or just any gamers after bad ass players.

His pace and defending kind of go hand in hand in how well he performs defensively, as while his interceptions aren't rated the highest (66 to be precise) his speed allows him to cut out passes and through balls with ease. What's more, he can get back fast. His actual pace, which has a base stat of 80, feels like more due to his low height and weight. He moves very rapidly and doesn't slow down the more he runs but actually speeds up.

He can zoom around the pitch quickly and his workrates don't ever cause him to be out of position either from an attacking standpoint or a defensive one.

While Fuentes's slide tackling can be a little bit lacklustre, his standing tackles are often very precise and he rarely loses the ball after making a challenge. In fact, most of the time he goes in for a tackle he comes out dribbling the ball and ready to pass it out, which is really great.

Surprisingly his shooting is actually above average for a centre-back. His longshots, while often lacking the power that better players possess, are regularly on target and at least trouble the goalkeeper. Meanwhile, his in-the-box finishing is good enough that he can put away chances that fall to him.

Passing wise Fuentes is good. He isn't really at the hub of attacks and when I did use him for passes he was accurate with them. His short and long passing, along with his vision is good enough that he can get them on target, but don't expect many technical bits of play from him.

He is actually the best centre-back I have used in Ultimate Team when it comes to dribbling. His touch is often a little bit heavy but on the ball he manoeuvres really well. This is largely due to his 91 rated agility that is ludicrously high for a player of his position.

He turns really well, dribbles the ball well and, what's more, he has 3-star skills which allows for some of the best skill moves to be used (although, sadly, no rainbow flick).

His heading took me by surprise too. He can jump high and accurately head the ball. He won't be scoring any goals though, and if he is marking a Falcao or Ibrahimovic then he will be overpowered in this area, but he does a good enough job.

Overall I really recommend him. I doesn't matter what you use him for as he will perform really well.
